How To Apply/Remove
Posh My Gosh Nails: Easy to Use, Quick to Apply, and Long-Lasting (Up to 14 Days!)
HOW TO APPLY:
1. Wash your hands and nails thoroughly.
2. Cut and File your nails to the desired length, and push back your cuticles.
3. Paint your nails with a clear, quick-drying base coat, and let them dry completely.
4. Remove the packaging and thin clear protective layer.
5. Choose the right size nail wrap for your nail.
6. Remove the nail wrap from the silver middle strip (exposing the sticky backing, ensuring not to touch the backing with your hands)
7. Center the nail wrap close to the base of the nail, press, and gently push the nail wrap down towards the tip of your nail.
8. File off any excess nail wrap by working from the outside in.
9. Finish with a quick-drying clear top coat, painting one nail at a time. Start at the tip (sharp edge) first to seal the ends for long-lasting wear, then cover the entire nail.
Note: Once your nails are dry, you're ready to take on the world! Avoid using hot water for the first 8 hours, as the adhesive needs time to become heat-resistant. So, you have a good excuse to skip the dishes!
Happy Beautifying!
HOW TO REMOVE:
We've perfected our adhesive formula to make sure your nail wraps go on easily, no heat needed, and last up to two weeks. But don’t worry—removing them is just as simple! Our wraps are designed to come off in one piece, leaving no sticky residue, stains, or damage to your nails.
We’ve got two great methods for removing your wraps, including an all-natural, gentle option. Check out the instructions below for both!
Method #1: Using Nail Polish Remover
What You’ll Need:
- Nail polish remover
- Cotton buds or tissue
- Cuticle pusher (just in case!)
Steps:
1. Soak a small piece of cotton in nail polish remover.
2. Place it on each nail (we recommend doing one hand at a time).
3. Wait 3-5 minutes for the remover to work its magic—be patient, and the wrap will slide off smoothly.
4. Gently push the cotton from your cuticle toward the tip of your nail. The wrap should glide off easily in one movement, without any rubbing or damage. If it sticks, use a cuticle pusher to carefully nudge it off (always push away from your nail bed to avoid any accidental damage).
Pro Tip: Nail polish remover can dry out your nails, so we suggest moisturizing your hands after this process.Method #2: Using Coconut Oil or Lemon Juice and Warm Water
Method #2: The All Natural Way
What You’ll Need:
- Warm water with lemon juice or warm (not hot!) coconut oil
- A small bowl
- Cuticle pusher
Steps:
1. Fill a small bowl with your chosen liquid—either warm water mixed with lemon juice or warmed coconut oil.
2. Soak your nails in the bowl for a few minutes.
3. As the bond between your nail and the wrap begins to loosen, gently use a cuticle pusher to lift the wrap from the side of your nail.
4. The wrap should come off effortlessly. If there’s any residue left, simply wipe it away with a tissue.
5. Enjoy your soft, nourished hands, perfectly prepped for your next nail wrap application!
We hope this tutorial makes removing your nail wraps a breeze, so you can get ready for your next stylish set!
